1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Promise Medical Centre website ("Site") and the online appointment booking service ("Service") operated by Promise Medical Centre Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are using the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who has read and accepted these Terms on your behalf.

2. Our Services

The Site provides:

• Information about our clinical services, departments, staff, and branch locations.
• An online appointment booking tool for requesting appointments at either of our branches.
• General health information for educational and informational purposes only.

The availability of specific services and clinicians is subject to change. Booking an appointment online does not guarantee a specific doctor or time slot until the appointment has been confirmed by our team.

3. Appointment Booking

• Online bookings are requests, not confirmed appointments. Our team will contact you by phone or email to confirm — we aim to respond within one business day, but this is not a guaranteed timeframe.
• You must provide accurate contact information. Name and phone number are required fields. Providing false or misleading details may result in your booking being cancelled.
• A reference number is issued at the time of submission. Please retain it for your records.
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in the event of an emergency, staff absence, or circumstances beyond our control. We will contact you using the details you provided.

4. Payment

• Pay at Clinic: Payment is made in full at the branch on the day of your appointment. We accept cash, POS, and bank transfer.
• Online Payment: Not yet available. When activated, payments will be processed securely by a third-party payment processor. You will be directed to that processor's terms and privacy policy at the point of payment.
• HMO Patients: Please present a valid HMO card and pre-authorisation letter (where required by your insurer) at reception.
• Consultation fees and service tariffs are available at our reception desks and are subject to change without prior notice.

5. Cancellations & No-Shows

• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment by calling +234 703 438 9645.
• Patients who repeatedly fail to attend booked appointments without prior notice may have their access to online booking restricted.
• Where a deposit has been paid for a specialist procedure, cancellation charges may apply. You will be informed of any such charges at the time of booking.

6. Not a Substitute for Medical Advice

Health information on this Site — including service descriptions, drug references, and health articles — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concerns. In an emergency, call 112 or go immediately to the nearest hospital emergency room.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use this Site or booking service to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or our systems.
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract data from the Site.
• Engage in any conduct that could disrupt, overload, or otherwise impair the Site or the booking service.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to any user who violates these provisions.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Promise Medical Centre Ltd, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your submission of false or inaccurate information, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Promise Medical Centre Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this Site or the booking service, including reliance on information published here, or from system errors that occur during the booking or payment process.

This limitation does not affect any liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian consumer protection or healthcare regulations.

This Site may contain links to external websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites. Following such links is at your own risk.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria. Disputes relating to appointments or treatment at our Dopemu branch shall be heard in the courts of Lagos State; disputes relating to our Sango-Ota branch shall be heard in the courts of Ogun State, unless both parties agree otherwise.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Material changes will be communicated by a prominent notice on our website. The dates at the top of this page reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
